Please don't feel you have to be fancy in giving a bit of information about yourself. You can be short or long but kindly don't be too long winded!

Anyone can read this area. There is a button to register along the left hand side; emails of participants vary so as soon as you register you will receive an automatic email from the webmaster HOWEVER it might go to your bulk mail. Please be sure to check it asap.

My name is Theresa. I chose the userid Alma when this site for artists began due to the fact that Alma means hidden in Latin. I'm a behind the scenes sort of woman for the most part; it corresponds to something integral in my personality whether on the internet or in real life.
I am known as Tabitha and Tess, so never be surprised at what someone might call me here. LOL I know who I am and so, usually, do those calling me different names.

Born in Massachusetts in 1953. Catholic. JW for five years between age 15 and 20; heathen til 35; returned to God and Church at age 35 to this very day. Wife of Joe, my beloved. Mom. Statue restorer. Good friend to a number of people.

Welcome, one and all. My idea of a Tribe of Christians is how I moderate. Details will come when I have more time, but for now I have GOT to help out my daughter.

Be thou blessed..

Ooo...I like this...

Okey doke--Hey Tess--HOW YA BEEN??? You ain't hidden--you've been M-I-A!!!

Anyhoo, I be Miki, Mistress of International Incidents, Renegade Warrior to the Apostles and Delinquent Child of GOD 'cause no one else in their right mind will claim me Twisted Evil --Warrior-None-In-Girlie-Clothes, that's me...and *no*, I am *not* delusional, though some would say I may not be wrapped too terribly tight...

I'm single because men are viscerally afraid of me and I haven't met one yet that I wouldn't eventually beat to death. Shocked

Born Ft Benning, GA, 13 April 1968, baptised at the base chapel 12 May of the same year...rebelled and turned coat on the Church like the snot-nosed brat I was at 15, became ragingly psychotic and joined up with the Mormons at 18, defected to the Southern Baptist Convention (I don't have the foggiest as to why Rolling Eyes ) after six years of hell in Joseph Smith Jr's Church of Latter-day Lunatics.

Wandered around the wastes of Protland for a few more years until 1996-7 when I not-so-gracefully reconciled with Mother Church. Confirmed Very Happy on the would-have-been-feast-day of St John of the Cross were it not a Sunday in Advent, 14 December 2003 by Father John R. Estrem at the Cathedral of St Paul. The Eternal Czar of Chestertonian Bedlam, USA, Dale Alquist was my blessed sponsor I'm not worthy.

My artistic endeavors are writing, rarely poetry, beading, embroidery, calligraphy and pen and ink. I love to make altar linens, paraments and vestments. I am also a mean and nasty apologist of the rabid variety--my favourite victims to drag bleeding and broken as gifts to the Altar of Christ are Mormons (of course!) and Jehovah's Witnesses. GOD help heretical church groups who fellowship at Denny's when I'm around engarde!....

I'm called the Pointless Shrew because that's what some Traddy-Wannabe-His-Own-Pope accused me of on another site a few years back--an evil Twisted Evil site with The Name Which Must Not Be Named. He (the TWP for short) had no idea what he started--I am infamous far and wide and respected nearly nowhere--but I get the job done, and darned proud of it rofl...

Cheers!

In His Grace, miki

Yeah!!! Wrote a whole post and my 'puter didn't conk out--give it a few minutes..... prayer

BTW: ANN!!! Where is my Green Bouncy???

Hi Ann, Tess and Miki!

Congratulations on the Thumbs Up!

I haven't written a thing since I posted those few poems months ago. I entered one in a War Poetry contest though.

The artist life is on hold for now. I've been caught up in getting the boys through First Communion, baseball practice, and the end of German school, which was last week. I'm beat.

I did plant a fabulous tiny garden though, full of bleeding heart, coneflowers, daisies, rudebekia, sages, oregano, mint, calendula, bush beans, etc.. All my favoritest flowers. The bees are going nuts and my dog is going nuts over the bees. Apparently she has a Vitamin Bee deficiency. Rolling Eyes

I'll try to keep peeking in from time to time.

Hope you all are enjoying the summer.

love,
Christina
